The founding cohort in each city is small by design. A focused group where each member shapes the energy and every voice builds the culture. Founding cohorts cities: The Bay Area, New York City, and Seattle.

Building a cohort is not completing a checklist of titles, industries, or achievements. It is about curating a community. Curation means the cohort as a whole matters as much as any individual in it. Fit is about composition, not qualification.

• Presence and generosity. You have gravity in a room, and you use it. You lift as you climb.

• Range of lived experience. You have built this brick by brick, through experiences that are yours alone. What you carry into this room, your path, your perspective, your particular way of moving through the world, is what makes the table richer for everyone at it.

• Shape of leadership journey. You have not arrived here by accident. You have navigated rooms that were not built for you, made decisions that carried more weight because of who you are, and kept moving forward. What you have overcome is as relevant to us as where you have landed.

• Level of self-awareness, security, and groundedness. You know who you are as a leader. Not because you have arrived, but because you have done the work to understand yourself, your impact, and the kind of leader you are committed to becoming. You lead with intention.

• Purpose in where you lead, what you build, who you inspire. You are not just chasing titles or growing influence. You are building with purpose, aligned with your core values to make meaningful impact.

Founding members set the tone, inform the programming, and hold the culture of their city's cohort. What that looks like in practice:

• Show up consistently and fully. Proximity builds power; power compounds with connection.

• Engage with curiosity and listen as intently as you speak.

• Speak from personal experience, with directness and care.

• Share generously. Champion and invest in the women around the table.

• Build relationships and ecosystems, not transactions.

As we launch the first year of The Table, the goal is to build with intention and sustainability. I expect that I will not be able to extend a seat in the founding cohort to everyone who expresses interest during this first membership window, so you will hear from me directly as the cohort is curated. Every inquiry is taken into consideration as we grow into new cohorts and cities.
